- 50 g pine nuts
- bunch of Basil
- 150 ml olive oil
- 50 g Parmesan
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Preheat the pan, fry the nuts in it till Golden brown.
- Cool and place in the bowl of a blender.
- Add all other ingredients and kill into a homogeneous mass.
In Italy the sauce is prepared in a mortar. But also using a blender, the taste you can’t lose! The variants of pesto a lot. Basil can be replaced with parsley, spinach – arugula, Parmesan cheese – any hard cheese. Or, for example, to add a sixth in the sauce, the secret ingredient.
