This Privacy Policy explains what information Legendary Recipes (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit legenrecipes.com (the “Site”), how it is used, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, contact us at [email protected].
Information we collect
- Comments and recipe ratings. When you leave a comment or rate a recipe, we collect the name, email address and website you enter, the text of your comment and rating, your IP address and your browser’s user agent. Your email address is never published.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting server automatically records the IP address, browser type, requested page, referring page and the date and time of each request. Logs are used for security and troubleshooting and are deleted on a regular basis.
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message.
We do not sell user accounts or subscriptions, and we do not ask for payment information.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
The Site is free to use and is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, to limit how often you see an ad, to measure ad performance and, where permitted, to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
- Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- You can turn off personalized ads from Google at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of personalized ads from many other vendors at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu.
- Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google’s consent message before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy settings link shown by that message.
Other third-party services
- Cloudflare delivers and protects the Site. It processes your IP address and request data to block malicious traffic and speed up page loads. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- Akismet (Automattic) checks comments for spam. The comment data listed above is sent to Akismet for this check. Automattic Privacy Policy.

Cookies
Besides the advertising cookies described above, the Site may set a small number of functional cookies, for example to remember your name and email after you leave a comment (only if you choose this). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work, but ads may be less relevant.
How long we keep data
Comments and ratings are kept for as long as they are published on the Site. Server logs are kept only for a limited period needed for security. Emails are kept for as long as needed to answer your request.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. We do not sell personal information for money. To make a request, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
