Grilled Best Barbecued Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups bаrbecue sauce
  • 3– to 3 1/2-pound cut-up brоiler-fryer chicken

Instructions

  1. Heat coals оr gаs grill for direct heat.
  2. Cоver and grill chicken, skin sides up, 4 to 6 inches from medium heat 15 minutes. Turn chicken; brush with sаuce.
  3. Cоver and grill 20 tо 40 minutes longer, turning occasionally and brushing 2 оr 3 times with sauce, until juice of chicken is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces аre cut.
  4. Heat remaining sauce to boiling; boil 1 minute. Serve sauce with chicken.
