Honey cake recipe

for the dough:

  • 2 eggs,
  • 100 g butter,
  • 2.5 cups of flour,
  • 1 Cup sugar,
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder,
  • pinch of salt,

for the cream:

  • 300 g 30% cream,
  • 1 Cup sugar,
  • 10 g of vanilla sugar.

Instructions

  1. Carefully RUB the sugar with the eggs. Without ceasing to interfere, add butter, liquid honey, sifted flour, baking powder and salt.
  2. Knead the dough consistency of sour cream. Divide it into 8 parts according to the number of layers.
  3. Roll out each piece of dough and bake the cake in a greased form at 180Β°C for 10 minutes.
  4. Cool the finished cakes and trim the edges, and trimming crush with a rolling pin into crumbs.
  5. In sour cream add sugar and vanilla sugar. Thoroughly blend the cream with a mixer for about 3-4 minutes, until sugar is dissolved.
