Pies with cabbage – a suitable dish during a post if you wanted fresh house pastries. The recipe of dough doesn’t contain some eggs and milk, and stuffing – especially vegetarian.

Ingredients

for dough:

  • 500 g of flour,
  • 30 g of yeast,
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar,
  • 200 ml of water,
  • 70 g of vegetable oil,
  • salt pinch,

for stuffing:

  • 700 g of cabbage,
  • 1 sour juicy apple,
  • 1 carrots,
  • 2 bulbs,
  • 1 teaspoon of tomato paste,
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil,
  • 1 bay leaf,
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar,
  • salt to taste.

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast, sugar and a tablespoon of flour in water warm (not more hotly). Leave in the warm place for 15-20 minutes before emergence of foam.
  2. Add salt, the suitable support and vegetable oil to the sifted flour. Knead dough. Cover dough with a towel and leave for 2 hours in the warm place that it approached.
  3. Cut in small pieces onions. Chop cabbage. Grate carrots on a grater with large holes. Peel apple and grate on a grater with large holes.
  4. БпассСруй onions on the warmed vegetable oil. Add carrots, cabbage, apple and simmer under a cover on average heat of 5 minutes.
  5. Then add bay leaf, a tomato, salt and sugar to stuffing. Mix and fry without cover of 3-5 more minutes.
  6. Press down ready dough hands a little and divide on 15-20 parts. From each part roll flat cake, put stuffing in the middle and stick together pie.
  7. Lay out pies with cabbage on the oiled baking sheet and put on a rasstoyka for 20 minutes.
  8. That ready pies with cabbage looked more toasted and brilliant, grease their surface with the freshly brewed sweetened tea.
  9. Bake pies with cabbage in the oven warmed to 200 Β°C, and then in 10 minutes reduce temperature to 180 Β°C and cook 20 more minutes.
